Frequently Asked Questions

What are the rates of your services?

Please email advocate@iepadvocatevirtual.com for a copy of our rates and procedures.

How do I start?

To begin the process you must review our policies. For a copy of policies and practices please email advocate@iepadvocatevirtual.com. If after reading our policies, you are still interested in working with us, a free 20 minute consultation will be scheduled to review your case and understand your needs. An in-take form will be sent you via email. Next, the service contract needs to be signed, release of information forms need to be signed, and a retainer needs to be sent. Our team will begin corresponding with the school and access to your child's school records. We will complete an IEP file review. From this point we will talk about different possible outcomes to reach the educational goal for your child. We will continue to support families throughout the school year by attending IEP meetings, draft emails and letters, support and guide you with any questions. At times, we will file compliance and due process complaints. In short we offer file reviews, consultation, advocacy, complaints, and IEP support.

Do you attend all meetings?

Yes. We attend all meetings via teleconference and/or video call. We work around your schedule to make sure we are both available.

Where are you located?

We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area but can service clients throughout California since we operate in the virtual format.
