JoAnna Marie Van Brusselen, Advocate
JoAnna Marie Van Brusselen is the very proud mother of two girls. Her eldest child besides being incredibly musically gifted was born with various disabilities including cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, epilepsy and visual impairments.
JoAnna has 15 years of experience supporting parents through the special education process and has conducted hundreds of trainings on IDEA, disability rights, self-advocacy, systems navigation, getting organized and many more.
JoAnna has a background in sociology and has actively sought out professional development for herself in areas of early education; K-12 education; systems navigation; facilitation; disability related laws; disability related city, county, state and federal services; and DEI to name a few. She most recently completed the Council of Parents Attorneys and Advocates Seat 2.0 Course. On her free time she likes to volunteer at other disability organizations and sits on various advisory groups as well as dance, play soccer and picnic with her kids.

Adrienne Oliveira is a passionate non-attorney, advocate with a demonstrated history of working in the special education setting for over 15 years in the public schools. She is skilled in collaborating with families and school districts to support students with disabilities. Adrienne Oliveira delivers high-quality educational consulting services by making sure your concerns are heard, ensuring your child receives the services they need to succeed, making sure you are being told the truth and ensuring the rules are being followed.
